I was visiting a friend in Jackson and he asked me to pick up dinner from here. I am very happy he did. I had a bit of difficulty picking my sandwich as they were all looking very appetizing. In the end I picked the Q-pine and the Cicero for my friend. I also ordered the Veg-E-Mite because I was not sure about the portion size. The portion sizes were perfect by the way. I got the combos for the Q-pine and the Cicero. The fries were well seasoned steak cut fries. If you eat in restaurant, they have hot sauce available as well. My friend and I switched sandwich halves and I am so glad we did. I got to eat both sandwiches and they were excellent. The Q-pine pork cutlets and the bacon where perfectly cooked and delicious, and the bread was toasted and buttered perfectly. The Cicero crispy Parmesan chicken was also excellent. And the Cibatta bread was nice and soft. Not to mention all the toppings that came on both sandwiches complimented them extremely well. On a side note, we ate our sandwiches about 20 minutes after ordered as it was a to go order, but the consistency of the sandwich was still spot on. I can only imagine how it would have been if I was able to eat it at the restaurant. The portions were spot on, so I took the Veg-E-Mite sandwich home. My sister got hungry and ate it. It smelled delicious and she said it tasted just as good. If I am in the area again, I will definitely stop by. I highly recommend eating here.

Lou’s Southern Sandwich Company is the sibling restaurant of Lou’s Full Serv. The atmosphere is really well done. It is a counter service sort of place. I have been twice since it opened — both times with groups. All members of our groups have thoroughly enjoyed our time and meals. The staff has been helpful, even while they are getting things underfoot. The pimento cheese dip and corn dip are excellent! Of all the sandwiches I’ve tried, I like The Slab (a meatloaf sandwich) the best. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. The fries are SO GOOD!

This restaurant is very good! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The food is so good and there is a full bar. We ordered a brisket sandwich, fries, caesar salad, smash burger and frozen rosé. The frozen rosé was a little too sweet but my husband enjoyed it. Great food, Great service, Great price. We recommend and will absolutely make this a regular spot!

This was our 2nd time dining here while passing through town & it was excellent both times! First time we found it by chance, this time we planned it & timed our trip accordingly. Both of our salads (spinach & parmagiano) were delicious, Redfish #1 & #2 were both incredible, the crispy sprouts are a must, and the tiramisu with chocolate & cherries was the icing on the cake! Our server Chad did a wonderful job & compliments to the chef for the delicious dishes! We plan on stopping here every time we pass through!

Everything was absolutely delicious! The CRAB FRIES, the best I’ve ever eaten! The ribeye and redfish were amazing as well. Our waiter was very attentive, I can’t wait to go back.

Lou’s is a great spot for lunch or dinner. Amazing sandwiches, made with care and intention, you cannot go wrong. The Cuban aka the Loubano is flavorful pork, ham, cheese and pickles toasted on the panini press. The club is loaded with the meats and cheese on croissant. The meatloaf Sando is a slab. Daily lunches as well. Good fries, great onion rings/strings. Good service and overall an experience worth repeating.

This place is so good we ate there all three nights we were in town!! Lou’s is an absolute gem in Ridgeland! We sat at the bar both times and had incredible service, delicious food, and a dining experience that felt thoughtful from start to finish. The Crawfish Fondue was one of my top favorites — creamy, loaded with Louisiana crawfish, and perfect for dipping into the seasoned house-cut fries. The Crab Fries were another must-order dish. I had them two nights in a row because they were that good: crispy, buttery, and topped with jumbo lump crab in a way that felt indulgent but not overdone. The Brisket Toast was a surprise standout — rich, savory, and layered with depth from the sherry glaze and parmesan. And the Bronzed Gulf Redfish was beautifully plated and perfectly balanced with its mash, corn hash, and crab butter. Desserts were a journey of their own. The Crème Brûlée was flawless — the lemon essence brought a bright, fresh twist to the classic vanilla bean custard. It was the flavor I wish I’d had when I ordered dessert in Sorrento earlier this year. The Blueberry “Cake” Cobbler was another winner (I’d definitely order it again). The Pecan Pie had tons of flavor but was a bit too heavy on the pecans for my taste, and the Bread Pudding leaned a little gummy — but with so many exceptional dishes on this menu, it barely registered as a miss. If you’re anywhere near the Jackson/Ridgeland area, make time for Lou’s. Ask for a bar seat and don’t leave without trying the crawfish fondue, brisket toast, and crème brûlée. If I ever make it back to Jackson/Ridgeland this will be my spot! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This restaurant is north of Newk’s. Turn in entrance for Newk’s, go towards front entrance and keep heading north and it’s on your left. I had no idea this restaurant was in Ridgeland BUT I’m so glad I found it on Google! When I tell you EVERY dish must be delicious!! This is coming from someone has visited 43 of the 50 states and always trying new restaurants along the way. There were 6 of us and every single dish was EXCELLENT! My check was $89 including tip for appetizer and dinner. I had the crab fries, OMG, they are beyond delicious. I’m going back just to order those 😃 I also ordered the filet and it was very tender although well done. The service, atmosphere, EVERYTHING was fantastic. We made a reservation for 6 and the table was set up once we arrived and they sat us. None of this crap that you must wait until so many show up etc. I HIGHLY recommend eating here!!! ❤️
